The Optical Studio was recommended to us by friends so we popped in for a contact lens fitting appointment for my 14 year old son today.
My son was understandably anxious about the experience and the staff were incredible, quickly putting him at his ease and talking him through the process and answering questions. They were so patient and helpful throughout, particularly during the fitting itself as it’s quite a fiddly stressful process for a young lad and he did not feel pressured or rushed at any time.
I would say if you have a young child looking to get lenses for the first time, look no further.
Matt was extremely patient and helpful in sourcing some prescription inserts and ski goggles for my trip. Even at quite short notice, he got a quick turnaround from the supplier, took the time to explain the features of the goggles and made sure I knew how to change the lenses.

Absolutely brilliant. I can’t praise the team enough. They explained everything in great detail, took time to make sure all the tests were clear and precise. Very friendly and I wasn’t sold a pair of glasses, unlike the big chains who I think rely on that aspect. I would highly recommend The Optical Studio and it’s definitely the only place I will go in future to get my eyes tested.
